Stroll down the River Thames | GS Menswear

A stroll down the River Thames to Richmond begins the GS menswear campaign.
Styled by David, GreyFoxStyle paired GS with his sartorial wardrobe of independent British brands.

Playful and unexpected, the GS signature marls create unique hues. I love the different moods evoked by these custom twists of colourful lambswool when styled against different textures. The Liddel chunky marl sweater in a twist of mustard yellow, grey and charcoal lambswool melange, styled with warming hues that ground yet compliment the lambswool marls with a Hazelnut scarf and Burgundy Argyle socks.

Let the Alford sweater add effortless texture to your winter wardrobe with its brushed wool stripes in a complex melange of jade green with hints of turquoise and khaki with a dark coffee brown. Brushed with dried thistles for a luxe felted look.
Styled with the unusual vertical intarsia stripes of the Stanton merino socks, they unexpectedly add that pop of colour to a wintery colour palette.

Double winter blues with sartorial textural contrasts in natural fibres, a striking geometric scarf in charcoal and sapphire blue, styled with the Lunan brushed wool sweater in Ocean Blue for a tonal look.

Refined and lusciously textured, the Mauden pink is a sartorial dream. I love the textures David has styled with this sweater of rich brown corduroy, a bright green work jacket and a plum GS ribbed wool tweed scarf that accents the flurry of tweeds on the Sweater.
The Mauden sweater is knitted in a responsibly sourced and certified lambswool cashmere yarn in a pink and grey melange. The scattering of subtle colourful tweeds makes it so wearable from day to night, from work to weekend.

Such a rich autumnal feel with the Ellon lambswool marl sweater, with a twist of burgundy and spiced orange, paired with contrasting Sotto organic cotton socks in Malachite and refined textured grey melange scarf.

We found ourselves on the beautiful Richmond Hill, full of local independent stores and such a joy to mooch around, including the cutest little pub, Victoria Inn with a microbrewery, antique shops, cheese shops and the most stunning florist I have ever visited, Bramble and Moss.

Textures and rich colour palettes in natural fibres bought so much depth and warm to the collection.
The Wilton chunky cable sweater is such a special piece, knitted in the Scottish Borders in chunky RWS certified lambswool, knitted on a traditional knitting frame. Its broken cable stitches and zig zags give a modern twist to the classic Aran, such as the unexpected marl hues in the Samar Argyle Socks. Bringing together the beauty of traditional UK manufacturing with modern design.
