Our Fidra Collared knit sweater offers an elegant take to the polo knit silhouette with a modern twist of deep button placket.
THE YARN
A Scottish spun super-fine lambswool in a deep blue melange. The Fidra offers an incredibly soft handle and irresistible comfort with each piece is fully fashioned to ensure a high-quality finish with virtually no waste.
This lambswool yarn has RWS (Responsible Wool Standards) certification, meaning that both the sheep that produce it and the land on which they graze is actively protected. Our yarn mill only sources from farms that can demonstrate respectful animal welfare, so every sheep leads a healthy life with essential freedoms.

Ours are made from sustainable Codelite and custom-dyed to a lustrous navy blue by Courtney & Co. – the last button makers in the UK.
SUSTAINABILITY CREDENTIALS
Not only is the Fidra spun on British soil from British yarn, but it’s also crafted in a way that minimises waste from start to finish. The buttons are made from Codelite – a completely natural and biodegradable product created by curing and hardening the naturally occurring proteins found in milk. Codelite first became a staple of button manufacturing in the early twentieth century, and by reviving it Courtney & Co. commit to reducing the amount of plastic within the industry.
