Our nonchalant stylish Lea cardigan is crafted to a relaxed modern silhouette and finished with a deep V-shaped neckline, contrasting cuff and pocket trims. Knitted in a sumptuous and certified slub lambswool for a chunky cosy handle.

THE YARN
Genevieve’s hand-picked blend of deep green with a natural textured slub lambswool creates a beautifully eye-catching duo-tone colour twist with its contrasting cuffs, and pocket trims knitted in a navy and natural slub marl. Custom-spun in Scotland from super-fine lambswool, the Lea offers an incredibly soft handle and irresistible comfort. Finally, it is washed in pure Scottish waters to enhance its luxurious look and feel.
Each piece is fully fashioned to ensure a high-quality finish with virtually no waste.

This lambswool yarn has RWS (Responsible Wool Standards) certification, meaning that both the sheep that produce it and the land on which they graze is actively protected. Our yarn mill only sources from farms that can demonstrate respectful animal welfare, so every sheep leads a healthy life with essential freedoms.

SUSTAINABILITY CREDENTIALS 

Not only is the Lea spun on Scottish soil and knitted in London, but it’s also crafted in a way that minimises waste from start to finish. The buttons are made from Codelite – a completely natural and biodegradable product created by curing and hardening the naturally-occurring proteins found in milk. Codelite first became a staple of button manufacturing in the early twentieth century, and by reviving it Courtney & Co. committed to reducing the amount of plastic within the industry.
