Lightweight yet irresistibly cosy, our Lunan men’s sweater is designed for all seasons. It offers a modern relaxed silhouette complete with a classic crew neckline, ribbed trims and fully-fashioned saddle shoulder detailing.
THE YARN
The super-soft wool Genevieve has selected for the Lunan is locally sourced and spun by a celebrated Aberdeenshire mill. The secret to its luxurious handle is the fact it comes from the ‘first clip’ of the lamb – an initial shear known for its unrivalled softness. Finer and more expensive, it produces a garment of exceptionally high quality without compromising on its authentic Shetland character. Once knitted, it is then brushed using the teasel thistle – a rarely used specialist technique that further enhances the sumptuously soft handle.

Genevieve’s keen eye for colour makes the Lunan an striking yet highly wearable piece. In this case, the dramatic jade melange is created by achieving a complex blend of jade green, turquoise and emerald with hints of ochre and brick red.
