The subtle sparkly zig-zag design offers an innovative new twist on the traditional hand intarsia process, while the premium construction – including ribbed trims and seamless toes – pairs a striking look with an irresistibly soft feel.
THE YARN
Made from luxuriously soft and breathable organic cotton, twinned with a zig zag sparkle of duo tone purple and blue lurex.
The sparkly yarn detail within our GS socks has FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and Eco Vero certification.
Being certified by the FSC means that any products containing wood and its origins (in this case the cellulose used to produce viscose) comes only from forests managed in an environmentally responsible way. Likewise, EcoVero certifies the origin of the product is from green sources, and that an eco-friendly production process has taken place.
THE DETAILS
The complexity of the Sia’s innovative zig-zag stripe should not be overlooked. Creating this pattern is a highly complicated technique that not only challenges traditional intarsia machines, but – in true reflection of Genevieve’s slow fashion values – also takes a long time.
