This set of three of our best-selling Salpaka pattern socks with Serin charcoal presented in a stylish GS gift box, ready for gifting. This gift set includes one pair of plain serin merino wool socks, one pair of alpaca merino wool marl socks in charcoal with khaki stripes and one pair of alpaca merino wool socks in khaki marl with charcoal tipping.

Knitted into the most beautiful sock by twisting together the softness and durability of merino wool with the luscious and warmth of Yorkshire spun alpaca. These socks are custom-spun by Genevieve herself to create a selection of unique colour blends; in this case, a earthy khaki green merino wool with natural alpaca finished with stormy charcoal grey wool with natural alpaca.

Bringing a modern twist to the traditional intarsia argyle with a GS signature marl. To create the Salpaka Argyle sock, Genevieve approached a family-run, Derbyshire-based mill, and after spotting the unusable end-of-line yarns, decided to rescue them from simply being thrown away.

Many of the yarns were small batches of discontinued colours, so Genevieve let her creativity run wild, twisting them together and producing completely unique blends out of otherwise wasted products. Twisting the yarns together can take hours and is something most factories wouldn’t have time for; but for Genevieve, it’s all about embracing the joy of slow manufacturing – and in doing so, creating something truly original and beautiful.

The trio of socks will be hand-wrapped in tissue paper with GS sticker, presented in the GS white gift box – sealed with a golden GNVE label. Beautifully presented for gifting to love ones far and near, you can also add a gift note at the checkout.
