THE YARN 
The story of this sock began when Genevieve discovered a beautiful yarn that was unfortunately too fine for knitting sweaters. Undeterred, she travelled to Derbyshire – yarn in hand – to learn the art of knitting socks instead. The result was the Solline, a truly unique piece of craftsmanship that blends denim melange viscose cotton with gold lurex. It’s finished with a stylish scattering of grey and white silk tweeds.

The sparkly yarn detail within our GS socks has STANDARD 100 OEKO-TEX® certification means that the textile fibres have been extensively tested and declared free of harmful substances. As a result, they are deemed completely safe for human health.
The trims are knitted in premium organic cotton that has been certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard known as GOTS. This manufacturing model not only ensures safe and fair working conditions for both cotton manufacturers and textile chain workers, but a premium quality product free from harmful substances such as pesticides, fertilisers or defoliants.
