The Modern Argyle Sock
A modern twist to the traditional Argyle whilst celebrating British craftsmanship and reducing textile waste.
Twisting beautiful shades of organic cotton with end of line cones of yarns that are just too small to knit production with or colours that have been discontinued. By combining contrasting colours, it creates the most unique and vibrant marl shades for the
NEW Samar Argyle Socks.
The twisting takes hours, sometimes even the whole day for a couple of colours, something most factories would never have time for and would rather throw away the yarn.
The yarn is knitted into small batches of socks when my British sock factory has some downtime, using a traditional intarsia sock machine.
The end result is a luxurious pair of GS socks embracing slow fashion processes, reduces textile waste, creating a unique coloured sock with the ultimate quality and fit.
