THE YARN
Genevieve’s tonal twist of charcoal melange with natural textured slub lambswool creates a beautifully soft duo-tone colour twist with its contrasting cuffs, and pocket trims knitted in a rich red and natural slub marl. Custom-spun in Scotland from super-fine lambswool, the Lea offers an incredibly soft handle and irresistible comfort. Finally, it is washed in pure Scottish waters to enhance its luxurious look and feel. Each piece is fully fashioned to ensure a high-quality finish with virtually no waste.

This lambswool yarn has RWS (Responsible Wool Standards) certification, meaning that both the sheep that produce it and the land on which they graze is actively protected. Our yarn mill only sources from farms that can demonstrate respectful animal welfare, so every sheep leads a healthy life with essential freedoms.

SUSTAINABILITY CREDENTIALS 

Not only is the Lea spun on Scottish soil and knitted in London, but it’s also crafted in a way that minimises waste from start to finish. The buttons are made from Corozo – a completely natural and biodegradable product derived from the nuts of the Tagua Palm. This amazing tree grows in the rainforests of Central America and produces the nuts without any need for human harvesting. Indeed, it’s such a valuable crop that the forests where it grows are being actively preserved.
