GENEVIEVE SWEENEY RORA LAMBSWOOL MOSS STITCH SWEATER IN BURGUNDY
Our Rora roll neck sweater with a chunky moss stitch detail. The pared-back, seamless design features saddle shoulders and falls to a slightly more relaxed cropped length above the hips.
Presented in a deep melange of burgundy coupled with spiced berry. Knitted in a 6ply extra fine lambswool to create a lofty chunky knit.
This lambswool yarn has RWS (Responsible Wool Standards) certification, meaning that both the sheep that produce it and the land on which they graze is actively protected. Our yarn mill only sources from farms that can demonstrate respectful animal welfare, so every sheep leads a healthy life with essential freedoms.
Read our journal post to find out more about our commitment to using responsible yarns.
Note how the saddle shoulder detailing sits beautifully across the shoulder, introducing textural contrast while also drawing focus to the fully-fashioned construction.
Genevieve is fully committed to minimising the carbon footprint of all her creations at each stage of the process. Therefore, like all her pieces the Rora is crafted here in the UK by a highly skilled team of Scottish knitters, working with the finest British lambswool – a completely natural, renewable, recyclable and biodegradable yarn. Additionally, the fully-fashioned design of these sweaters ensures a high-quality finish with virtually no waste.
The ultimate weekend sweater, ready for winter walks and enjoying a mulled wine by an open fire.
