It is with immense joy and gratitude that I share the incredible news: Genevieve Sweeney has been selected as one of the nation’s 100 most impressive small firms by Small Business Saturday UK. A couple of weeks ago, I had the honour of being invited to the House of Lords with @smallbizsatuk to celebrate the Small Business Saturday Campaign and the remarkable small businesses that make up the #SmallBiz100.

I read that Small businesses in the UK generated £2.3 trillion in revenue in 2022, which equals almost half of the country’s total revenue.

On this day, we have celebrated with holding an open studio for our community to visit, meet myself the designer, see the behind the scenes of designing and manufacturing in the UK as well as being able to try on the new collection. We also indulged in coffee, mince pies and Christmas biscuits at the studio, passing on the tradition of small business values to the next generation.

On this Small Business Saturday, let’s celebrate the heart and soul of small businesses.
